Embarrassing As 50% Of Americans Can't Find North Korean On The Map, is it That they are not Taught Geography(Video)

Embarrassing, about 50% of Americans can't locate North Korea on a world map, it is believed about 90% of Americans will support sending missile to North Korea to blow up their ass but if a mere citizen is asked to push the button and send it to North Korea, i wonder how they are to implement it, when they can't even identify North Korea on world map.
It amazes me that the american education system is much more of a open and easy one unlike in Hong kong where you just learn what the teacher writes on the board. In America, you discuss the issues and focus more on ideas.
Jimmy Kimmel on a CNN sponsored poll went live to know how many American fellows knew geography better. .To his surprise his guess might just be true.

Is high time Americans start learning; though few of them are bouyant in intellects.

  1. This is quite funny, but at the same time maybe its the content that is taught in Geography that needs to change. I managed to pass my Geography GCSE in England but wouldn't be able to locate it on the map either. I don't know how Geography is taught in America but in England it is very 'old school' focusing more on case studies than locations and capitals.
